On August 26, 2025, Luke Burgis and Cluny will visit Carlos Garcia and other inmates to talk about mimesis in the prison environment. Garcia's essay, "Violent Conflict, the Struggle for Identity, and the Contagion of Mimetic Desire in the Prison Environment," was published in Vol 31. of Contagion: Journal of Violence, Mimesis, and Culture, in 2024.
